An Intro to NonViolent Communication: Deeper Listening, Transformed Relationships, and WORLD PEACE!

NonViolent Communication (NVC) helps us discover the depth of our own compassion. We get practice recognizing our own deeper needs and those of others. Through its simple process of hearing and expression, NVC is the language which reveals that all human decisions are made in an effort to honor universal values and needs that we all share! The form is simple yet powerfully transformative.

  • learn and practice the paramount NVC concepts of empathy and expression
  • see NonViolent Communication in action
  • follow the thread of NVC through stories of transformation, engaging conflict, healing relationships, and unlocking love and compassion

Rachel Bush is an Emotional Release Technique (ERT) Practitioner. With the help of muscle testing, magnets, and forgiveness, she taps into the strong connection between mind, body, and soul to help clients move emotional energy that has created negative emotional, behavioral, or physical patterns. Rachel runs her practice out of the Grand Rapids Wellness Collective.

Finding the Answers Within:
The path to experiencing your purpose, power, and potential

Leah Grace1Right this moment you have your full potential within you and the ONLY thing preventing you from experiencing it are your blocks. During this talk Leah shares a​ ​simple, yet profound, methodology for helping people experience huge transformations and create the results that they are wanting in their life.

This class will cover:

  • The anatomy of ​our human ​potential​ 
  • How to recognize what is ​blocking us 
  • A new perspective on ​healing & personal growth
  • The neuroscience of creating real change
  • An overview of the collective services and treatment philosophy of the GRWC​​

Through the study of neuroscience and over 13 years of working with clients on how to program change at a subconscious level, Leah Grace offers programs to helping her clients implement a new way of living – in alignment with their life’s purpose, power, clarity, confidence, and potential for success. She runs a life and​ ​​entrepreneurial coaching practice through the Grand Rapids Wellness Collective.

Wednesday Evening

Kundalini Yoga, Kirtan and Sacred Sound Experience

GongA meditative evening and collaboration bringing nada yoga, the yoga of sound, and kundalini yoga together for the first time at the GRWC. Tune in and warm up with a kundalini yoga session for relaxation that is designed to settle you into a meditation and followed by sacred chanting. Breathe and move with Susanne while Brooke and Geoff play the harmonium and didgeridoo to assist the opening of the body. Did we mention the gong? Join us for the premier of this collaborative experience. Space is limited and is first come, first serve.

Susanne Werblow is a Kundalini Yoga Instructor and owner of Kundalini Yoga GR. Brooke Dillane offers Thai bodywork sessions and shares kirtan wherever, whenever. Brooke also instructs group and private yoga sessions in the Grand Rapids area. Geoff Lamden is a naturopathic practitioner with a focus on sound therapy, utilizing tuning forks, singing bowls, and didgeridoo. All three Practitioner work out of the Grand Rapids Wellness Collective.

The Reason for the Season: Springtime Cleansing

SmoothieAs the weather warms many of us experience the urge to open our windows, let the sun shine in, and to start anew. Spring is the traditional time to include cleansing foods, herbs and practices to help shed the winter gunk and reset. Join Cassie Jaffe and Christie Kruisenga as they offer practical advice and hands on tips to get your body freshened up, detoxed and ready for a new year. They will discuss the many options for spring cleansing, the numerous benefits, and how you can feel as good on the inside as Spring feels on the outside.

Cassie Jaffe is an Energy Touch Practitioner and Natural Health Educator. Christie Kruisenga is a Natural Health Educator. Both Cassie and Christie work out of the Grand Rapids Wellness Collective.

GRWC Grand Opening

Front DeskJoin the Grand Rapids Wellness Collective for a casual evening of wholesome food and community as they celebrate their Grand Opening. Appetizers from Kangaroo Kitchen, locally brewed drinks, and fresh juice from Sip Organic Juice bar will be served. This is a chance to meet the practitioners who make up the GRWC, see the new studio space, and enjoy the art displayed by local artist Susanne Werblow. This will be a great night filled with community and conversation.
