Registered Nurse at Out of the Blue, RN, BSN, MBe
Nancy Despres in a Registered Nurse who specializes in nutrition, homeopathy and mindset strategies. Using her 15 year experience in cardiovascular thoracic medicine and open heart surgery, she brings a functional medicine perspective to her holistic practice. Her belief is that the body is a self-regulating system, and when you identify and remove the obstacles and support the system the body returns to a balanced state of being.
Her methods include electro acupuncture (EAV testing), a form of biofeedback, which helps her “eavesdrop” in on the body to identify strengths and weaknesses within the meridian system. Tissue hair mineral analysis assesses the body’s metabolic oxidation rate and looks at mineral and heavy metal status. Adrenal saliva index testing (ASI) looks deeper into the stress regulating glands of the body. ALCAT food sensitivity testing evaluates how foods trigger the immune system to contribute to weight, hormonal and overall pre dis-ease states. She also combines SRT biofeedback and a new device, The NuCalm system, which is patented for balancing the autonomic nervous system and brain entrainment.
Nancy graduated from Grand Valley State Universtity with a BSN in 1985 and holds a variety of BioEnergetic and Functional Medicine Certifications. She has been a holistic nurse since 2000. She is also certified in The Courageous Coaching Method and a student in the Robbins-Madanes Strategic Intervention Coach Training. Nancy believes that when you incorporate a strategy for the mindset as well as the whole body, healing is a natural unfoldment.

Rachel offers metaphysical inner guidance sessions: the rough outline of a life coaching or counseling-like format infused with metaphysics. In other words, amidst the talking, listening, and processing, tools like card readings, numerology, astrology, energy healing, “diagnosis” of psychic abilities, and more are used to help individuals to bring answers to light in a different way and connect to the highest versions of themselves.

Trauma-Informed Yoga Therapist and Meditation Teacher at Grand Rapids Healing Yoga
In our busy lives we’re often pressured to identify with our minds – our thoughts, feelings, emotions, memories, labels. These things usually belong to our past or the future, making it hard to notice what’s present right now. Our bodies hold this turning it into discomfort, dis-ease, or just the feeling that there’s something more.
In yoga therapy sessions I help you release what no longer serves and come home to what does. Through guided questions, meditation, and other support, we begin moment-by-moment and breath-by-breath. We listen to your body as it opens up the way home. We move toward yoga postures that are gentle, supportive, and adapted to you. Each session is unique, but they have a common root: when you practice yoga as therapy, you are not “doing” yoga but instead receiving yoga. In that spirit I take great care in how I hold space for you. Experience with the particular practices (yoga, meditation) is not required and everything can be adapted for different body types, emotions, and sensitivity toward past traumas.
I will help you prepare you’re heart, practice with your body, and receive whatever comes with compassion. I come to Grand Rapids Healing Yoga and Wellness Collective GR after almost 20 year of personal practice and training. I completed Prairie Yoga’s Teacher Training program in 2013 and have since trained in chair yoga, trauma-informed yoga therapy, and meditation. I’m a registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists.
Spiritual Director at manIFeStations GR
As a practitioner of interspiritual direction, Cami firmly believes that the sacred resides deep with each of us. Interspiritual direction takes its lead from the seeker, whether through a practiced traditional faith-based experience or through a more eclectic spirituality. We encounter the sacred through our own life’s journey and bear a sense that there is something more to our experience of life. Interspiritual direction accompanies the seeker as they move deeper into the sacred, the holy.
Cami journeys with soul seekers as they explore their spiritual longings, hopes and dreams by tapping into their own wisdom as it is divinely sourced through the source of all wisdom. Each session consists of a practice of attentive prayerful listening, deep noticing and naming. Along with interspiritual direction, Cami is experienced in offering spiritual direction to those who are in spiritual distress due to spiritual woundedness, crisis or spiritual abuse. We often have a language around physical and mental distress, but we don’t always have the awareness that we are experiencing spiritual distress. Direction offers a safe, sacred space to explore our wounds and find a sense of healing. Cami is humbled and privileged to accompany those with whom she enters this relationship of sacred exploration and deep trust.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Yoga Teacher at Well-Bean
Jen Rapanos has developed a distinct approach to working with children and adolescents as a clinical therapist. Drawing from almost two decades of experience working in the schools and as a clinician, she blends her comprehensive background in mental health with training in mindfulness and yoga to offer an integrated and holistic approach to treatment.
Her philosophy towards health is rooted in self-efficacy. With yoga mats rolled out and conscious breathing to start a session, she supports her clients in relearning to trust in their innate wisdom, guiding them towards wellness. “Sometimes stress and anxiety or other conditions or life circumstances take us off that path, but I have found there is such power in teaching children and adolescents to find solace within. Too often in this world, they’re taught to look outwardly; that something else or someone else is the key to their own happiness and wellness.” She strives to create a nurturing space that fosters learning, where her clients are supported in building skills to help navigate their way through the world while finding calm and peace within.
Animal Health Consultant at Whisker Wellness
Michelle Rhodes is a natural health consultant offering consultations for animals and their guardians. We are uniquely privileged to share our space with animals, but we must listen to them when they try to tell us something is wrong. Often we miss the signs of a bigger underlying problem when we ignore a “hot spot” on the skin or disregard vomiting and diarrhea as normal. Even when we recognize these issues as not normal and consult a veterinarian, we can become frustrated that the prescribed medication is not helping our animal to become healthy.
Michelle addresses both acute and chronic health concerns such as gastrointestinal issues, skin and coat problems, allergies and emotional or behavioral problems. Through the traditional naturopathic methods of muscle response testing, iridology and nutrition counseling, an animal is able to help me address the root cause of their dis-ease. Suggestions will be tailored to each individual animal and may include dietary changes, supplements, flower essences and light healing touch.

Andrea Sulak, MA, LLP
Licensed Holistic Psychotherapist and Certified Chakradance™ Facilitator at Sacred Pathways
As a holistic psychotherapist for 19 years, Andrea combines the traditional principles of humanistic psychology with the ancient teachings of the chakra system including subtle body energy healing, movement therapy, and guided meditation as a way to work comprehensively with her clients.
Andrea believes that when energy gets stuck in the body and mind, whether it’s from trauma, painful experiences or everyday stimuli in our lives, it causes patterns of unhealthy thoughts and behaviors. If the stuck energy is not addressed, over time this leads to an imbalance in the physical, emotional, energetic, intellectual and spiritual components of one self, thus resulting in a disconnection from one’s true divinity. This is often experienced through physical illness, feelings of anxiety, depression, anger issues, low-self esteem and limiting beliefs. Andrea is passionate about assisting individuals on their sacred path back to wholeness.
